Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) Training Courses

PTA’s entry-level courses provide trainees with the knowledge and certifications to start a career in security. Our in-service courses help trained professionals recertify and/or advance their abilities. Trainees will learn skills like firearm safety & handling, state laws & codes, general investigative skills and more.

Prodigy Training Academy (Tactical Baton, Handcuffs, OC Training)

The purpose of PTA Tactical Training is to teach trainees the proper strategies and communication skills to avert aggression and protect themselves from injury. Trainees will learn effective court defensible control, defense skills, methods of using non-lethal tools & restraints when aggression cannot be averted.
